A  lot can be said about the cliche` "the grass is always greener..." , and "Home is where you make it". Leaving the USA to be raised in the Philippines as a child and coming back as a young adult seemed so sureal. It seemed that I was isolated from soical growth of the USA that had to be felt rather then just read or heard from a biased source. As an adult I look back and see how rich of an education I recieved from the asian/american culture. I was being taught by american wanna bes. It seem that our country bought and sold the Filippino people that we are superior and that they have a lot to gain from following our example. I would debate that vision.
